Having held various management positions in high-tech companies specializing in data processing and analytics solutions, Rotem Yoeli was appointed CEO of Mer Group Security Division in 2012 and has been leading Athena since 2015. He is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the Israeli Special Forces and holds an Executive MA in public policy (EMPP) from the Tel Aviv University as well as a B.Sc. in computer science from the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya.
VP R&D of Athena
After joining Athena in 2014, Zvika Diamant was appointed VP R&D. He holds an M.Sc. in electronics engineering from Tel Aviv University and a B.Sc. in mathematics, physics and computer science from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, where he was part of the ‘TALPIOT’ excellence program. He also served as PMO (Captain) in the Israeli Air Force.

WEBINT and Intelligence expert, Shiri Dagan is a former Senior Product Manager and Intelligence Analyst at the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office.She served as an officer at the IDF Intelligence unit 8200,and Holds an M.A. in Social Psychology from Tel Aviv University and a B.A in Psychology and History of the Middle East.

A senior intelligence expert, Shlomo Matalon served in the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office for over 20 years, holding various analytics and executive roles. He holds a B.A in political science and Middle East studies from the Tel Aviv University.
Founder of Mer Group
since 1987, Chaim Mer also serves as director at Xenia Venture Capital Ltd., Oplon Ltd. and Space-Communication Ltd. He holds a B.Sc. in mathematics and science from the Technion Institute of Technology in Haifa, and is a former intelligence officer of the IDF’s Unit 8200.
CEO of MER Group
retired IDF colonel, Nir Lempert served in the IDF intelligence Unit 8200 for over 22 years in various roles, including head of planning, head of the Intelligence Center and unit deputy commander. In his post-military carrier, he was the Executive Vice President of Yes Satellite TV and assumed CEO position at the Zap Group and TV Channel 10, before being appointed CEO of Mer Group in 2015.
Founder and Chairman of Athena
A former head of the Israeli Mossad (1989-1996), Shabtai Shavit founded Athena in 2003. He has served as advisor to the special sub-committee of the Israeli parliament's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee and is the chairman of the International Policy Institute for Counter Terrorism.

Former Director, ISA (Israeli Security Agency). Mr. Cohen holds a BA and MA in Political Science and is a graduate of the National Defense College as well as Wharton’s Advanced Management Program.
